“Fell A Lusting” - Bro. Robert Cain - Fri. PM

Bro. Robert Cain (Jackson, Michigan), with a message from the Lord, initiated the snowball effect of mighty messages to be preached in 1982 annual Jackson meeting. Taking his text from Numbers 11, Bro. Cain reminds the saints of the unstable Israelites who through their lust after the former things they had in Egypt, exposed themselves as dissatisfied with the present blessing God had given them in his divine providence. He urges the saints to consider their personal experience. We must fight to maintain a proper perspective of the miraculous position God has brought us to, and fight to never be found desirous of anything Egypt had to offer.

“How Seest Thou” - Bro. Ron Cavin - Sat. AM

Next up, Bro. Ron Cavin (Springfield, Ohio) with fire from God challenged the present blood-washed assembly with a question; how seest thou? Bro. Ron heralded through the word of God a multiplicity of fundamental Biblical themes, doctrines, and principles, that the church of God stands for, and he asks, “how do you see?”, “what is your vision like?”, and “do you see it as God’s word sets it forth”. Brethren, may God grant us all a crystal clear spiritual vision.

“A Man Sent From God” - Bro. Carl Kenerly - Sat. PM

It was Saturday night. Bro. Carl Kenerly (Springfield, Ohio) in obedience to the Holy Spirit took the pulpit. He methodically and through the scriptures advanced the thought that, in order to get where God desires his people to get, there must be a man sent from God, in position, with God’s message and with God’s burden, to bring His people where He would have for them to be. God’s message is not a cute, soft, or easy-going message, so if you say you desire a man sent from God, realize what you’re asking for.

“The Blameless Church” - Bro. Frank Hampton Jr. - Sun. AM

Bro. Hampton (Jackson, Michigan) with power dispensed from Heaven, started his message on this Sunday morning, with the saints speaking to themselves in a spiritual song, written by Bro. W. G. Schell, titled “Without Spot and Blameless”. This song could not have been sang, nor written for hundreds, even thousands, of years prior, because the church was not blameless. This song was written out of personal experience and divine revelation. God has “a”, single church, and she must be blameless, by God’s estimation upon the return of Christ. Church, let’s take the more earnest heed to this awakening message, we have much more to lay hold on.

“The Emptiers” - Bro. Roger Burke - Sun. AFT.

Bro. Roger Burke (Springfield, Ohio)with an unction from the Holy Spirit, preached with passion to the young people on the thought, “The Emptiers” that Sunday afternoon. Young people in God’s army are in the heat of the spiritual battle in this time. There is a constant attempt by Satan’s “Emptiers” to empty and drain God’s young people of the virtue, spiritual strength, and life they have upon a clean break from sin, and continued connection with God. Young people, and brethren, let us not be emptied, and may we fervently fight to remain filled with all the fulness of God, as the apostle Paul prayed.
